Comedian Gene Padilla is embracing the controversy surrounding his exclusion from his niece Claudia Barretto’s wedding by getting a tattoo that reads “Mr. Uninvited” on his left arm.

In a video posted on Facebook, Gene documented the tattoo session and proudly displayed the fresh ink, explaining that it was dedicated to his critics. “Para sa ating mga basher. The best kayo bashers. We really love you. Kayo na rin naman nagbigay niyan eh… ‘di gawin natin,” he said.

The tattoo is a clear reference to the ongoing family tension that went viral, particularly after Marjorie Barretto publicly stated that Gene was never invited to Claudia’s wedding. The situation gained attention when Gene and his brother Dennis Padilla voiced their disappointment online over Dennis’s supposed treatment during the ceremony, especially after Claudia walked down the aisle alone despite Dennis’s presence.

Marjorie responded by clarifying that Dennis had agreed to Claudia’s wishes beforehand. She also emphasized that Gene’s complaints were unwarranted since he wasn’t part of the guest list, and no family member was mistreated during the event.

Rather than letting the issue fade, Gene appears to be leaning further into the controversy. After the wedding, he began selling T-shirts with “MU” and “Mr. Uninvited” printed on them. Now, he’s made a more permanent move with the new tattoo.

However, this act sparked fresh criticism online. Social media users flooded the comments with sarcastic remarks, with some saying, “Sana sa noo mo pinalagay,” while others accused him of seeking attention: “Pinatattoo pa ang pagiging 8080” and “Magkapatid nga kayo, parehong kulang sa pansin.”
