Jalen Ramsey Undergoes Anesthesia for Full-Leg Tattoo Amid NFL Trade Buzz

by Holly

On June 5, NFL star Jalen Ramsey went all-in on celebrating his football journey by undergoing anesthesia to complete a massive full-leg tattoo in one session. The intricate artwork, done by the artists at Lakimii Painless, chronicles his path from his college days at Florida State to his time with the Jaguars, Rams, and now the Dolphins.

Lakimii Painless shared a highlight reel of the tattooing process on their official Instagram, offering fans a glimpse into the hours-long session. Although the entire design hasn’t been unveiled, Ramsey’s known for tattoos symbolizing strength and faith—previous ink includes lions, swords, and Bible verses, portraying him as a powerful protector.

This isn’t Ramsey’s first major tattoo. Back in 2023, during his recovery from knee surgery, he got a large chest piece featuring a Bible, a lamb, and a toy soldier—imagery rich with spiritual and personal significance.

At the same time, Ramsey’s NFL career is also undergoing dramatic shifts. In April, he and the Miami Dolphins agreed to explore trade options. Things have intensified recently as Ramsey skipped the team’s mandatory minicamp, with trade rumors growing stronger.

His former team, the Los Angeles Rams—where he won a Super Bowl—remains a fan-favorite landing spot. However, other teams like the Las Vegas Raiders and the Pittsburgh Steelers are reportedly in the mix as well.

Despite having four years left on his current contract, including a hefty $21.1 million salary in 2025, Miami may not get significant assets in return. His age and contract size could limit their options to a mid-to-late round draft pick.

When asked about Ramsey’s minicamp absence, Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel responded candidly.

“I don’t personally… give a shit about what I feel,” McDaniel said. “I don’t even really go down that road of ‘How do I feel about it?’ My job is to react and control my controllables and make sure that people are moving in one direction appropriately. Business is business. The opportunity that business provides in the offseason is a rep to the team about handling noise.”

Ramsey played 17 games last season after missing part of the previous year due to a knee injury. Despite signing a massive $72.3 million contract extension not long ago, the decision to pursue a trade marks another big chapter in both his career and personal evolution—now visibly inked onto his skin.
